Rising out of This World's Confusion

"Our lives often become entangled in the surrounding culture, to the detriment of our spiritual well-being. This talk seeks to offer some helpful ways in which we, as Orthodox Christians, and particularly Orthodox women, can free ourselves from this world's vanities and distractions, and focus more clearly and effectively on seeking first the Kingdom of God. Among other means, it will discuss the importance of prayer, fasting, simplicity, spiritual reading and inspiration."

Mary Mansur a graduate from Brown University, has served the Body of Christ as Editor of the Newsletter for Orthodox America for over 10 years, and currently serves as Editor of the Nikodemos Orthodox Publication Society.
